This afternoon I will participate in a moderated discussion on the Nashville Statement alongside Denny Burk, Preston Sprinkle, and Joel Willitts here at the annual meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society in Denver, Colorado.

Linked below is my paper for anyone who would like to read it. In it, I explain the Nashville Statement’s articles pertaining to transgenderism. One of the aims of my paper is to explain how general and special revelation speak a common language when it comes to our embodiment as males and females.

My paper titled “A Reflection on The Nashville Statement and Transgenderism: On Creation, Revelation, and the Meaning of Male and Female” is available for download here: The Nashville Statement and Transgenderism.
